Midwest LGBTQ Engagement Session // Lauren + Sarah

Hey y’all and welcome to our blog where we like to tell the stories of our clients who are just SO STINKING AWESOME! Today we are coming in hot with the Midwest LGBTQ Engagement Session of Lauren and Sarah 🙂

If you have recently gotten engaged and want to take some beautiful photos in West Lafayette, then the Celery Bog is the place for you!

Before their Midwest LGBTQ Engagement Session

Lauren and Sarah have been together for two years! This couple is sugarrrrrr sweet, y’all and we could tell just from their Midwest LGBTQ Engagement Session alone!

Together, their favorite things to do are hiking, finding new breweries, watching movies that come in multiples “so we can waste a day” (LOL), and going on long walks to look at the houses/architecture in the neighborhood… so cute!

These two met on Bumble! We love a social media win over here!! We love to see our phones doing positive things 😉 Sarah messaged first! They met for the first time at Indy Pride (LOVEEE THIS) before the Lizzo concert (LOVE THIS TOO) when Sarah bought Lauren a beer so she wouldn’t have to wait in line.

Sarah’s first thoughts about Lauren: ‘oh gosh, she’s so pretty, I doubt I’ll see her again’… while Lauren’s first thought about Sarah: was being nervous because she thought Sarah was cool for being in VIP, hahaha!

Sarah’s answer: “that Lauren is really funny, and she makes herself laugh at her own silly jokes. When I was living in Bloomington and we were doing distance and Lauren made such a big effort to make time for each other- and mainly when she tried my hobbies with me.’”

Lauren’s answer: “that Sarah is smart, and kind. And then thinking, gosh, I liked when I realized we could just hang out on Saturday morning and didn’t have to plan activities, we could just be together”

And love is what brought us here today; to writing a blog all about their Midwest LGBTQ Engagement Session.

The Celery Bog

The Celery Bog is located 1620 Lindberg Road, West Lafayette, IN 47906. If you are driving, there are several fairly large parking lots. They even have bathrooms to change in! It’s the perfect place for spotting wildlife, wild flowers, and hanging with your pups! We love the sunset here as well.

After your session there are a ton of great local restaurants to check out for dinner! The Bryant, Walt’s Pub, and of course West Lafayette’s famous Dog N Suds are just a short drive away! Wanting ice cream after your session? We gotchu! The Silver Dipper is another local favorite!
