Cutest LGBTQ Couples//Lindsay, Audree, + Woodford the Golden Retriever

We are SO EXCITED to introduce you guys to this little angel! Everyone meet Woodford James Rich! This sweet golden is going to absolutely melt your heart. We were so happy when Lindsay and Audree asked us todo a photo session of their newly extended fam, we literally couldn’t say no! So buckle up, while we tell you a little bit about one of our cutest LGBTQ couples!

Our FIRST LGBTQ wedding couple:)

We had the pleasure of taking Lindsay and Audree’s engagement AND wedding photos in July of 2020! Their ceremony was so beautiful and simply intimate, and we are SO glad we were the ones to capture all of the precious moments! They definitely set the tone for being one of our cutest LGBTQ couples! Lindsay and Audree decided they want to add on to their small family *insert Woodford here*. We are sure you’re DYING to know more about how they came to be, so check it out below! Trust me, you don’t want to skip out on this little guy;)

The golden child…

As you have probably learned by now, Woodford is a golden retriever pup who is nine weeks old. A BABY baby!! Lindsay and Audree actually found Woodford at Nestleroad Farm Golden Retrievers, which is located in Logansport, IN! Who knew heaven is in a small town in Indiana?! Anyway… Lindsay and Audree told us quite the story about how they came up with Woodfords name! Apparently they both really bond over bourbon! On one of their dates, they ventured to the Woodford Reserve. From there on, their future pet was bound to have the name “Woodford”!

We love ALL dogs, but we may be a little impartial to doodles considering we have four! Because Woodford isn’t a doodle, we had to ask… WHY? Why a golden and not a doodle?? Well to them, that question was easy! Audree has wanted a golden since she was a young kid, and Lindsay grew up with labs so she wanted a large dog. So there was no better time than now to make it happen! Luckily, Woodford is the coolest little dude with quite the personality. Currently, he absolutely loves to run and play outside. He also really loves finding sticks to play with, even though a lot of the time they’re MUCH bigger than him!

Cute LGBTQ Couples continued…

We asked Lindsay and Audree if they had any advice for you and your pups before coming to your session. They responded with a simple “Wear your pup out!”. So it is as easy as that! They suggested taking your dog on a long walk in the morning or something to keep them active, so they are more mellow and less energetic during your session! Something the two of them have learned while being puppy parents is that there is ALWAYS pee and poop left in them, so never doubt that!:)

To wrap up, Lindsay and Audree gave a few words of wisdom to all the brave puppy parents out there. They said that no matter what, you and your partner should always be on the same page when training your pup. If you both reinforce the same behaviors and habits, your pup will catch on so quick!

The Territory//Horticulture Park

We know, we know. The location Woodford was hanging out in in those pictures, STUNNING! Well guess what, we’ve got the hook up! Purdue Horticulture Park in West Lafayette, IN is the place to be! You can check out all of the wildlife while strolling through and seeing some of the gorgeous plants and trees! Heck, bring a picnic basket out and enjoy the park while eating some grub! While you’re in West Lafayette, you could check out the cute pottery place named “All Fired Up!” after eating at the famous Triple XXX, all located on Wabash Landing!
