If you are ready to go on an adventure, feel empowered, or learn how to level up your business, we are your girls! So.. what are you waiting for? Let's do this thing!
This is the dayyyyyy we have been waiting for y’all! As an LGBTQ Elopement Photographer, we COULD NOT be more excited to share Caitlin + Bryggs’ wedding with you! Spanish Fork, Utah never looked so good! Now, keep on scrolling to learn about their venue and see all the photos from their big day!
You haven’t seen the pictures quite yet, but take our word for this – Utah is the most PERFECT place to elope if you are looking for some seriously, jaw-dropping views.
Did you know…. Utah is one of the most highly underrated elopement spots? Packed with places to explore, Utah has never been more perfect for an elopement!
In Salt Lake City, the town’s average snowfall annually is 500 INCHES! Wow!!! Interesting enough, the name Utah actually comes from the Native American Ute tribe and means people of the mountains! This crazy fun state made after a Native Tribe is crazy fun in even more ways… 5 to be exact! Utah is the home to FIVE nations parks! Our kind of place ๐
It can be YOUR kind of place too… kind of place to elope! (see what we did there?!) Contact us and let’s get you and your lover married at one of these epic national parks!
Originating in Ireland, Caitlin + B held a ring warming ceremony at their elopement. Their rings were passed around to each guest at their wedding ceremony. Each guest then said a wish or good thought for the couple. Each guest then “warms” the rings in their hands. This was such a perfect, intentional event at their elopement. We would love to see this at any future elopement!
Fun fact, Rainbow Bridge, which is a natural sculpture carved of solid sandstone, happens to be the worldโs largest natural-rock span. It’s awesome! It stands 278 feet wide and 309 feet high. Can you picture getting your elopement photos taken here?!
Another great hidden gem are the Bonneville Salt Flats! The Bonneville Salt Flats is truly a place like no other! It’s essentially like a dazzling white, salt-covered oasis! Caitlin + B even decided to have a day after their wedding session while in Utah! Check it out HERE!
Last but no least, as we mentioned above, Utah is home to the “Mighty Five” national Parks. Including Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Arches, and Canyonlands! Check out more about them here!
Origionally Caitlin + B fell in love with the landscape of Colorado, but with the pandemic putting a cap on the amount of people in AirBnbs we started to look elsewhere. While scrolling we were amazed at all Utah had to offer. After a little searching we found Thistle & Pine, a private retreat located on 153 acres!
This Airbnb can accomodate up to 16 guests. It has 6 bedrooms, 12 beds, and 4.5 baths. They are also an airbnb super host, so you know you are going to get excellent treatment!
Imagine finding a spot on this property that no other couple has eloped at! Thistle & Pine offered the perfect elopement spot. As Caitlin + B tried to figure out where to have their ceremony, their eyes went right to an old greenhouse structure located right in garden space.
The structure offered the perfect set up for a small ceremony space, and bonus… no hiking required! The owners were great and made sure that Caitlin, B, and all of their guests were comfortable during their stay!
After the ceremony, the large deck of Thistle & Pine Airbnb was perfect for a small reception. Walking out onto the deck you have amazing views of the mountains all around. And the sunset? Well let’s just say it helps to end your night perfectly. And one more surprise feature is seeing the wild horses that live off of the land!
Caitlin + B had pizza delivered for their reception and guests enjoyed a night of dancing and celebration. After all of the main events were over, they set up a few campfires around the property to enjoy a night under the stars. Thistle & Pine was the perfect home for an elopement and we hope that someday we can come back!
Having the perfect team of vendors is essential for an elopement! They all come together for the two of you on your big day so that it can go as smoothly as possible! And, without your team of vendors, you wouldn’t have your hair done, rings, outfits, so… you kind of need them! ๐ B + Caitlin’s team was nothing short of amazing! If you are eloping near the Salt Lake City area, you will be super pleased with the below team of vendors who knocked Caitlin + B’s team out of the park!
Hair/Makeup: Signature Bride + Design
Dress: BHLDN

Are… you… kidding me… DOES IT GET MORE PERFECT THAN THIS?! Pretty sure it doesn’t! As an LGBTQ Elopement Photographer, we couldn’t have been more honored to capture this special elopement! We couldn’t have asked for the day to have gone any better for B + Caitlin. Their elopement was pure magic.
