We interviewed 10 couples to find out why their elopement was the best decision ever. These couples have eloped in epic locations such as Rocky Mountain National Park and even Elopements at Red Rock Canyon in Nevada! can be just the two of you exchanging vows in a special place or even heading to the courthouse with a few of your favorite people!

Why Eloping was the BEST. DECISION. EVER. (As told by real couples!)

1. Intimacy

• Almost every single couple we interviewed explained that they wanted the day to be about them. They wanted to share their intimate vows with one another, together, and not in front of an audience. The special part about their day was it was truly about them and not everyone else! 

2. Finances

• One couple shared that they wanted to start their marriage, debt free. The average wedding can cost well over 30,000. Having an elopement can literally slash that big price down by over 70%. Many couples also shared that they wanted to put the money they saved towards something like their first house or more trips together. 

3. Drama Free

• Say goodbye to having to choose between who is going to be your MOH or which guests are invited. Several couples explained that the reason they eloped was to say adios to the drama. They didn’t have to worry about pleasing their guests. They only had to focus on what they wanted. 

4. Stress Free

• Perhaps this one was shared by most every couple that participated in our interviews. They felt like because they didn’t have to worry about finances, drama, or any other big decisions, that they were able to have a stress free day! They could decide every little detail and not have to worry about what anyone else thought!
