Did someone say another full circle moment? You got it! A while back, we introduced you to Jared and Steph and their sweet story, but NOW we get to introduce Jared and Steph again, this time as newly-weds! Say whaaa?! Welcome to the blog alllll about Jared and Steph and their Indianapolis Indiana Elopement.
These two lovers became the best of friends in middle school. Drifting apart after school, social media luckily kept them connected. The funny thing about life is that it is just as fair as it is unfair most of the time; there are rainbows after a storm. Jared heard about the Nashville Tornado (where she lives) and he “slid into Steph’s DMs” to check on her and her children.
Living in different cities, FaceTime was their fav way to enjoy each others company! Eventually, when they got to actually be together, they made time for dinner dates and game night with kids and music concerts and OF COURSE dance parties. They found that they enjoyed spending time outside in nature, hiking, taking pictures together. They love any sports activities with the kids, karting, foot golf, ice skating and the park.
Steph told us that what she loves the most about Jared is, “I can trust him with all of me, my present and my past. He gives me a sense of belonging.”
And as far as Jared, “Steph encourages me to be the best version of me.”
AWW!!! Yup. We are in our freaking feels over here!! And THAT was their true beginning. NOW they get to start their happily ever after.
On June 5, 2021, Jared arrived early to their sunrise elopement as he anxiously awaited marrying the woman of his dreams! This was a surprise to Steph who was sure he would be late ha! 🙂 These two exchanged their vows with Steph’s two kiddos alongside of them. Right by the river, their rings were put on their fingers, and even a few tears were shed. The excitement and happiness that Stephanie’s two kids, Emily and Jackson, had for them was pure joy!
We asked these two why they chose to elope and their anwser really struck us!
“To have an intimate celebration. A morning focused on just us, as a family. Our favorite thing about our wedding day was that it truly represented us as a family. If you are looking to elope, don’t compromise on your vision of what you want the day to bring.”
And to top off their elopement? These two brought cookies to share (yes! even with us!). Stephanie shared, “The cookie recipe has been in jared’s family for many years and loved by all. The cookies quickly became our favorite and we love baking them together so we wanted to share them with everyone.” (We gave these cookies a 10/10!)
What I loved the most about these two is that after they shared a private ceremony together, their night ended with festivities and celebrations with their closest friends and family! See, you can have both!
Nestled in the busy city Indianapolis, Indiana is a beautiful park that allows city dwellers to escape the hustle and bustle of their day to day lives. This park can help you catch a glimpse of what the landscape of the city might have looked like prior to 1820! The park is named after a local family, who was a founder of a shoe company.
When you step into the 84 acres of Indiana Nature Preserve land, you forget that you are even in the 12th largest city in the United States! Upon arriving at the Park you’ll see grassy meadows, picnic tables, and luscious trees. Stepping onto the trails, you will find shade under the massive trees, a beach area perfect for elopements (wink wink), wildflowers, birds, and so much more!
Nevertheless, the couple decided on this park after visiting and wandering the trails for a while. Once they were near the beach, they then realized it was the perfect spot for their elopement! They loved the privacy and family-friendly vibe that the park offered. Better yet? It was CLOSE! This park is often mentioned as Indianapolis’ hidden gem!
