There is truly an overwhelming amount of great spots literally everywhere to take your photos, so now it’s time to decide what is best for the two of you! The list below can help make those tough decisions on how to pick a location for your engagement session!

Meaningful

Think of a spot that is meaningful to your relationship. Maybe it’s where your first date was or a favorite hiking spot! Maybe it’s the coffee shop where you proposed, either way, a meaningful place is the perfect place for an engagement session! Engagements are so sweet, they are the start of your lives together! These are photos you will cherish FOREVER <3

Adventure

Maybe the two of you crave adventure and you want to go on a NEW adventure together. Decide how far you are willing to go, and then work with your photog to find a perfect spot! Maybe it’s the mountains, the beach, or even on a boat! We LOVE a good adventure! Our last adventure was with a couple to the Great Smokey Mountains! The Rocky Mountains also have our hearts!

Hometown

Consider your hometown! Maybe it’s where the two of you grew up, or maybe it’s a spot that you went to as a kid. Either way, bringing back some memories during your session is just the cutest! We are totally here for it! Some ideas for local Lafayette, Indiana sessions include Purdue, The Igloo, or even a local park!

Proposed

Go back to the spot where you were proposed to! This place is significant because it’s the start of your commitment to one another. Maybe you proposed in the Bahamas or on a cruise. OR maybe it was on a walk down a trail at your old college, like Michelle + Rob at Holcomb Gardens!! Either way, sign us up! 😉

 If you have a pup, maybe a local dog-friendly park is the place to be! Check out parks that are local to find a just right spot for those sunset photos! (Be sure to bring another human to watch the pups as well!) HERE are a list of dog friendly parks and trails in Lafayette, Indiana!
