We are so sad to see 2022 come to an end. Lots of amazing moments were captured, clients turned to friends, and many many miles traveled. But as we bring 2022 to a close, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate some of the amazing couples and the stories that we captured this year. While this list doesn’t have ALL of our amazing couples on it, we are so thankful for ALL of you that have made our small business possible. Without the love and support you have thrown our way, we wouldn’t be where we are! Now before we get too emotional, let’s get on with the show! Here are some of the best LGBTQ Wedding Photos of 2022!
Alex & Kendra (Las Vegas, Nevada)
One of our last LGBTQ+ weddings of 2022! And we did it Vegas Style! Alex and Kendra got married at Bears Best Las Vegas (right next to the mountains!). Great weather, great views, and some dang good outfits! You can easily see why this wedding and these photos made the list!
One of our favorite parts about this day was the first look! We snuck away from the venue and found a beautiful mountainside location to capture these two and the moment that they first saw each other. The mountains in Vegas and the colors are just indescribable!
Lastly, I can’t forget to mention the amount of Fletcher that was played throughout this night. These two jammed to fletcher during their reception (we obviously couldn’t stop singing too). They then had a private last dance to one of Fletcher’s favorite songs (Her Body is Bible). After they headed out to a sparkler send off and ended their night celebrating together in a casino!
Janna & Delaney (Jefferson, Colorado)
We went out of our fall season with a bang and photographed their elopement at the most epic of locations…Jefferson, CO! This elopement tops our list as having some of the best LGBTQ Wedding Photos of 2022! We started their elopement off with them getting ready at the Triangle Cabin. They had their first look right in front, with mountains off in the distant. Then we headed to Jefferson Lake for their vows, first dance, and so much more!
One thing I loved about the day that these two created was how intentional each part of their day was. These two spent the last few years of their relationship writing letters and poems to each other. On their wedding day we took time throughout the day to read them to each other. Tears were falling as these two shared these emotional writings.
Another favorite from this day was how they picked perfume out for each other. They sprayed each other once they were in their wedding attire, and now they will use these smells on super special occasions! You can see a reel HERE with more of the ways they made their day intentional!

Best LGBTQ Wedding Photos Continued…
Katie & Jess (Turkey Run State Park, Indiana)
This elopement at Turkey Run went VIRAL and for a good reason! The lighting! It had just rained before we pulled in. The clouds parted and let down the most beautiful sun rays as these two explored the park together as a married couple! We headed to Turkey Run first to capture some of the best light we have personally ever witnessed.
One of my favorite things about these two and their day was when we were walking along the trails and exploring these two little girls passed by and one said ” Look mom, it’s a princess!” We all nearly died when we heard her say this. It was truly a perfect moment!
Another part of this day that I loved was that they had their family write them letters to read. They made some time in their day, snuggled up in each other’s arms, and read the words of wisdom together (a little teary eyed). It was truly a special part of their day!
Joni & Keaton (Fair Oaks Farms, Indiana)
Joni & Keaton got married at the iconic Fair Oaks Farms in Fair Oaks, Indiana! This venue is known for being The Perfect County Wedding venue! From the beautiful country landscape to the delicious food, it’s easy to see why so many couples choose this venue!
One of my favorite moments from Joni & Keaton’s day was when they had their first look RIGHT before walking down the aisle! Keaton was waiting patiently at the end of the aisle for Joni, she grabbed onto her arm and they had their first look as their guests watched. Then they walked down the aisle together hand in hand!
Another favorite moment from their day was when we sneaked away for sunset images. These two chased the sun as it dipped down below the horizon. We always suggest sneaking away, just the two of you, so you can enjoy some moments together on your wedding day!
Britt & Alejandra (Bloomington, Indiana)
Oh the joy these two brought to our year! The love that we felt on this day was incredible. So much laughter, celebration, happy tears, and all of the in between! This day and this venue was incredible! Britt & Alejandra celebrated the wedding of their dreams at The Wilds in Bloomington, IN. The Wilds Wedding Venue is a stretch of farmland on 125 acres surrounded by the Yellowwood State Forest. Just a short drive from downtown Bloomington and Brown County, it’s easy to see why this venue is so convenient. We love the modern farmhouse inspired design and how nice the staff is!
One of our favorite moments from this day was how they had guests wave rainbow flags as they were announced wife and wife. They walked down the aisle, Britt dipped Alex, and guests celebrated their love by waving pride flags.
Another favorite moment from this day was when Britt surprised Alejandra with a Mariachi band! Family, friends, and of course the couple were dancing and singing. Heck, even Bryt and I were dancing behind our cameras. We love a good surprise!
Jess & Kate (Indianapolis, Indiana)
Where to begin with these two?! This wedding was out of this world…literally! Their decor was celestial themed (and black/gold for Purdue). Stars hung from the ceiling and they tool elements from their personality to make it unique to them.
One of my favorite moments from their day was when they wrote their vows sitting across from each other right before getting ready. They each snuck a few glances at each other as they were writing, smiles on their faces, the moment of exchanging their vows coming soon.
Another favorite moment from this day had to be their cocktail hour. Tinker House has a coffee shop in the lower level of the space, guests were escorted to a cocktail hour with some of the best drinks around. It was a total vibe!
Goodbye 2022… Here’s to 2023!
Again, we are SO thankful for all of our 2022 couples. We had an incredible year and cannot wait to watch your love stories continue! We hope you enjoyed our recap of some of the best LGBTQ wedding photos! And with that, we are ready to welcome all of our 2023 couples! Here’s to this being the best year yet!
