I am so excited to share Hannah + Jonathon’s New Year’s Eve Wedding Hannah and Jonathon rang in the new year engaged last year. Even though Hannah had small suspicions Jonathon would be proposing, she didn’t quite expect a backyard party with all their family and friends! Jonathon had set up a backyard dinner and a movie for them to watch for a romantic date. Hannah’s favorite movie, meal from their first date, and compiled video of what her family and friends love about her ended with Jonathon popping the BIG question. He got down on one knee and had a beautiful ring to showcase!
And this year…
This year they rang in the new year again, but as husband and wife! Blessed with a perfect day, everything ran smoothly. The couple enjoyed many aspects of their wedding from the first look to walking down the aisle to the emotions and support of loved ones. The reception was filled with fun, dancing, and fireworks!
Hannah’s dress was a statement masterpiece of the wedding. Fine beads, sparkles and lace came together to give a true sense of elegance. “Seeing Hannah in her dress for the first time was my most anticipated moment of the day,” Jonathon stated. The intimacy of having a first look captured true love between Hannah and Jonathon.
Love and sparkle filled the air. Everything was grand within the fine detail. The church had high ceilings with a timeless cathedral look. Navy blues and golds surrounded the beautiful stone and woodwork of the church, new and old. At the reception hall, the tables were topped with disco balls to mimic the Times Square Ball and there were several clocks in the decor all set to midnight!
Hannah and Jonathan kept the drinks flowing and the dances going until midnight! The couple celebrated on the dance floor with their closest friends and family members. Then when the clock was about ten minutes until midnight, they surprised their guests with a firework show right behind the venue. It was such a grand way to begin their first day as a married couple. As soon as the firework show ended, the couple and guests danced to one final song as the ball dropped! Confetti flew and the couple shared their first kiss as husband and wife in 2020!
