A Little About the Chicago LGBTQ Couples Session
Anna + Sarah have been together for quite some time… 11 years!! And 3 of those years, they have been madly in love with rings around their fingers. They have been through it all, long distance relationships, the hardships of being an LGBTQ couple, and adopting the MOST HANDSOME little guy!! Seeing Anna + Sarah interact with one another, there is a type of magic in the air which stems from the most genuine type of love there is.
Now, these two met in college and were friends for a few years before they started dating. Anna knew Sarah was the one after they had only been together a few months. They were at a college party and it was extremely loud (we remember those days!). Sarah noticed Anna was super overwhelmed, took her hand, and led her outside. It was then, under the stars, that Anna fell in love with her!
After just a short while of being married, Levi came into their lives! In 2019, they got the call that they had been waiting for. And if you watch their Tiktoks or Reels on IG you will see just how stinkin’ cute Levi is! He loves adventure and showing off his Spider Man Like moves!
Now, this family of 3 is looking to expand by one (or even 2) more! They have officially began the process of adoption again in hopes that they can complete their family! Hickory Creek Preserve, Mokena, IL
It wasn’t too long ago that Anna + Sarah had commented on a social media post we made about wishing we lived near Chicago so that we could connect. Funny story though, it turns out Bryt’s family and Anna + Sarah literally live like 10 minutes away from one another! So of COURSE we had to meet!
We chose this Hickory Creek Preserve because of the beautiful fall tones and wide open fields that it had to offer. Hickory Creek Preserve has more than 2,000 acres of beautiful land just waiting to be photographed! Plus it has lots of trails and some of the most perfect picnic spots! As you look through the photos, you can easily see how perfect this spot was for Anna, Sarah, and Levi’s family session!
And Sarah + Anna even took their own engagement photos here! So it’s coming around full circle having their family photos here! Officially swooning!
Chicago LGBTQ Couples Session Continued…
During each family session, I make it a point to spend some time with the parents! Once you have kiddos, we know all the attention goes to them. But you two are where it all started! And love makes a family! So we gave Levi one of his favorite toys, and captured a few sweet moments of these two beautiful moms!
Life is busy, but we all know how important it is to continue to connect. These two are truly #goals when it comes to their family! Any new kiddos that join their family are going to be so lucky to have these two as their parents!
