Now we know what you might be thinking… there is nothing cool about Indiana. FALSE. There is wayyyy more than corn in Indiana, there are a surplus of CRAZY Outdoor Wedding Venues in Indiana! Whaaaaat?! Who would’ve thought it? So now the hard part is finding them, right?!

Well hey, let us introduce ourselves because… we are Sam + Bryt and we did the hard part for you! Today we are sharing with you our most favorite Outdoor Wedding Venues in Indiana! And it gets even better… because we are THE BEST, we have even made sure that they are all LGBTQ inclusive. Ya welcome.

1. The Wilds

Coming in hot for our first pick is The Wilds Wedding Venue, located in beautiful Bloomington. The town is obviously well known for Indiana University and it’s crimson and white… but personally, we think it should be better well known for where you get married 😉

With Brown County nearby, you can hike through the week + then spend your weekend getting married. How does that sound?! If an authentic, memorable wedding venue that works with you to define your unique personality and style is what you’re searching for, this is your place.

2. Cedar Ridge

This baby is jaw dropping in the fall… all of those beautiful, orange and brown and yellow leaves make for the PERFECT background to any outdoor wedding. Cedar Ridge is gorgeous in all seasons though, and is a pretty awesome choice here! The beautiful outdoor venue is nestled in the rolling hills of northern Jackson County, close to Columbus and Seymour, Indiana.

If nature is what you’re wanting, nature is what you’re getting with a wedding at Cedar Ridge! The location itself has so many rolling hills and giant trees to offer as natural decor for your ceremony set up 😉

3. Traders Point Cremery

Nestled in the heart of Zionsville, Indiana – Traders Point Creamery is a STELLAR restaurant wedding venue. This venue calls a 150-acre dairy farm home… so if you’re wanting a countryside wedding feel… this is your place!

The team at TPC offers a number of diverse properties, but to-be-weds are welcome to make use of their favorite one 😉 whoop whoop!! The scenery of this place cannot be compared: the sunflowers fields, barns, and multiple other backdrops make for a very photo-diverse wedding day.

4. Balmoral House

This one is a TOTAL find, holyyyy!! Consider The Balmoral House in Fishers, Indiana for an enchanting, seamless wedding experience. Isn’t that all you can ask for?!! 🙂 This super duper elegant boutique venue features so many things… a grand staircase, open floor plan, expansive ceilings, fireplaces, crystal chandeliers, crown moldings, a mahogany bar, and a plethora of natural light.

Located on over 20 STINKIN’ ACRES of lushly landscaped grounds, there is a ton of room for your outdoor ceremony! This venue is complete with an outdoor pergola overlooking a private pond, rolling hills, mature trees, and creek offshoots… you truly will have endless options to incorporate nature directly into your wedding ceremony or reception.

5. Abram Farms

This sweet wedding event venue happens to be hidden among a beautiful 84-acre estate in Spencer, Indiana! Abram Farm is not one to miss. If you’re looking for the perfect outdoor setting that gives off major vintage charm, this is your winner!!

The ver tranquil + peaceful country venue also happens to house a 7,300 square foot barn AND six-acre pond. Soooo we’re thinking a little Ariel and Prince Eric moment with some photos in a boat on the water?? OHHH YEAH. Abram Farm is an extraordinary venue for anyone with these ideals in mind.

6. Eiteljorg Museum

OOOOOOOH BABY! If you and your lovere are a couple of art nerds, check this place out! Eiteljorg Museum is an art museum ready for artsy couples looking for an artsy outdoor wedding venue – and it’s in Indianapolis!

The art gallery gives an elegant location and feel to the venue. With spectacular views like this one, it is perfect for any type of event… but personally we think your wedding will be the best! Whether you trade your vows on the terrace or EVEN surrounded by the some of exhibits, this place is epic!

7. Montage

Heck to the yeah on this one. Montage sits on the northside of Indianapolis and is a contemporary wedding venue! 25-400 guests are welcome here – so theoretically even a little elopement could take place here…wink wink 😉

We aren’t kidding when we say that any wedding here at this location is BOUND to be so uniquely your own and OH SO definitely remembered. I mean, have you seen the glass atrium?? You get tons of choices here from it’s FIVE (!) event spaces!! Also each is equipped with their own personality AND can totally be customized to your vision – you will have an abundance of fun planning your wedding here.

8. Indianapolis Yacht Club

We’ve always wanted to shoot a wedding on a boat… but I guess a wedding at the Indianapolis Yacht Club will suffice! Indianapolis Yacht Club provides Indiana couples with a venue in McCordsville! WHOOP!

An elegant little waterfront venue for those lovers who just can’t get stay away from the waves! This wedding venue sits along the shores of Geist Lake… one could say it shore does look like the perfect wedding venue. HAHAHA! Say your “I do”s along the water and then get your boogy on and celebrate in the club’s historic clubhouse.

9. Avon Gardens

Avon Gardens is a real find located in… you probably guessed it – Avon, Indiana! This is a unique garden venue that provides couples a super one-of-a-kind wedding location! This is your venue if you’re wanting to live out your best fairytale dream.

This venue will deliver a breathtaking and unforgettable experience for you and your guests. At night, more than THREE HUNDRED candles and other festive lighting light up the space, making it absolutely magical!! The epic little gardens have been featured in Midwest Living Magazine two times!

10. Ritz Charles

YEAH. So this one has left us a bot speechless… but we’ll try to put how awesome this one is into words for you! Come on, have you seen that glass atrium?! We are so sold. Ritz Charles is actually a catering company! Located right in Carmel, Indiana – this place offers quite the elegant setting for a wedding!

Newly renovated in 2020 (YAYYYY), the sophisticated spaces found are bound to please! They are gorgggg. This AND the fact that they have their own event specialists’ services makes it possible for couples to realize their wedding dreams and have the best day everrrr!
