These two ladies just made my job so stinking easy with the way they light up the room and are such naturals in front of a camera! Honey bunny… sugar packet… baby… haha!! These are the cute lil nicknames Kenzie + Katie have been giving each other for one and a half years, whaaaaat?! We have to be honest, we always obsess over the cute little, unique nicknames all of our couples have for their lovers. SO CUTE!
Their story starts on Tinder! We love it when the internet actually works in our (Or our clients” in this case) favor haha 🙂 Katie knew her girl was “the one” when she felt comfortable opening up about details of her life she never really shares. For Kenzie, she knew Katie was “the one” when they both made the same joke in unison… hahaha!
And the rest is history! Or at least up until their Indianapolis LGBTQ Engagement Session…

These two accidentally proposed to each other at the SAME TIME! Are you kidding?!! Great minds think alike I guess… haha! Anyways, this is how their story goes:
Due to the help of a very awesome sister, they proposed at the same time – in Garfield Park Conservatory, actually! This was the place that they were originally supposed to have their first date. AW! A true full circle moment. The rouse to get the two of them there was that they were taking engagement photos for said sister’s roommate and her fiancé… but ohhhhhhh no.
Katie says she had a hunch Kenz was planning on proposing that day because she put on jeans before they left… this CRACKS us up! LOL, we relate to this so bad. Jeans are for special occasions only. Kenz had a hunch that Katie was proposing because her sister AND Katie used “conservatory” as the place to take the photos… and they never used that word otherwise!

Now, I don’t know about you but Indianapolis is a HUGE city. There are so many great spaces to take photos that it will probably be pretty hard to choose from.
