The Proposal at Newfields
Are you ready for this one?!
Michelle + Adam started dating July 2017 after they met on a dating app (NOT Tinder ha!). Adam proposed to Michelle at Newfields’ Winterlights after an adorable Riddler themed scavenger hunt. Adam had Michelle going all around their apartment and each clue she came to was another part of their dating story. Eventually, the last clue directed her to Newfields Winterlights. Finally, Michelle joined Adam at Newfields, completely unaware that her whole family were there too in hiding! Michelle had NO IDEA that Adam was going to propose! They rushed though the lights, and Adam was on a MISSION! They finally got to this archway where they had taken a photo two years prior. Michelle wanted to get another picture underneath it, so they had a nice couple take their photo after Michelle took theirs. As Michelle turned around after getting her phone back, Adam was down on one knee! SO MANY FEELINGS! Michelle was so focused on the proposal that she didn’t even notice her family literally right next to her taking allll the pictures!!

Michelle + Adam // Newfields Engagement Session
These two are the cutest!!! Michelle + Adam love going to northern Michigan together and doing allll of the fall things! They like to take long walks to chat and have life talks. One of their favorite things to do is sit on their balcony to chat and drink endless amounts of coffee. (I’m so here for this HA!)
We like to ask our couples some fun questions about each other, so here are their answers to some of our favorite questions.
How did you know they were THE ONE?!?!
Michelle: I knew Adam was the one about a week in, but really about to months in. We went on a camping trip to Brown County and I said I would follow him anywhere his job/ life would take him. He met everything on my list of must haves and exceeded them! ❤❤
Adam: I felt very comfortable around Michelle and felt I didn’t need to be something I wasn’t. She listened to me talk about comics on the first date. LOL. And, I fit in perfectly with her family!
What is one thing you love most about your partner?
Michelle: I love that he supports me in all of my life decisions/ life adventures no matter how crazy or silly or serious!
Adam: I love her smile and her heart!

The Session // Newfields Engagement Session
Michelle + Adam say the thing they LOVED about their session was how funny Samantha was and how she made them feel instantly comfy to take lost of photos! Adventuring around Newfields Gardens with this couple was so fun and exciting! Michelle says to always pack a pair of flip flops to change into, especially if you’re planning on wearing shoes you might be uncomfy in, like heels.
