Their Story
Samantha & Casey got married at Purdue Memorial Union in West Lafayette, IN. Their proposal was magical with Casey getting down on one knee in front of a Christmas Tree in downtown Chicago (feeling sad I wasn’t there to capture that one!). These two claim to be so similar that it is actually pretty scary! I’d say the love we captured this day was some of the best love! Between sneaking extra kisses in between photos and Casey not being able to take his eyes off of Sam, I’d say these two are nothing short of perfect for each other! Also, any wedding couple that chooses donuts as their dessert gets bonus points in our books!
About Their Purdue University Wedding
Purdue University is located right in downtown West Lafayette. It pretty much makes up West Lafayette if you ask anyone from here! It’s the perfect spot for a beautiful ceremony + night of dancing! We love that couples have some choice in ceremony location when they pick Purdue.
We also love that the Purdue grounds are photographed beautifully in every season! Make sure to schedule some time to walk around and grab photos with all of the iconic fountains located on campus. Plus, a visit from the Boiler Express can make an wedding brighter!
Another benefit to having your wedding at Purdue is the Union Hotel. Recently redone, the Union Hotel, which is attached to their ballroom, offers the perfect spot to spend the night after a night of drinking and dancing! Plus, their dining options make it the perfect getaway!
Harry’s Chocolate Shop
Located just a few blocks away is the iconic, Harry’s Chocolate Shop. If you went to Purdue, you have for sure been to Harrys! Harry’s Chocolate Shop is the #1 Purdue Alumini bar and restaraunt located in the Greater Lafayette Area. When you step into Harry’s you are transformed back in time. The outdoor spot is a truly iconic photo location for any and all purdue alumini!
