Looking for a queer friendly place to sit back relax and enjoy a great meal? The list below is FULL of ideas for ALL kinds of humans! From coffee shops to diners and even a chocolate shop, this list is sure to not disappoint! Check out our LGBTQ+ Friendly Restaurants in Indiana below!
The Inkwell Bakery + Cafe– The Inkwell is a Gay Owned coffee shop and brunch location! They are known for having the best chai tea lattes (hollllllaaaa!). And if you head here, don’t forget to try their banana cream pie!
Bloomington Bagel Company– Bloominton Bagel Company (BBC) is downtown Bloomington’s first made from scratch bagel bakery! And it is even Owned by two ladies who were the first to marry when Bloomington made it legal! How freaking cute!
The Backdoor– Looking for a spot with a pet friendly patio? The Backdoor is certainly for you! They offer drinks + a great meal, plus are open 7 days a week!
Taxman Brewing Company– This is one restraunt that I can vouch for! Breakfast here is so freaking good! We had the dutch baby and ohhhh my gosh, I couldn’t get enough! This place has great drinks and dinner options as well!
Welch’s Ale House– Looking for a TOP NOTCH Burger? Welch’s Ale House is where it’s at! They are known for their mix of many American staples and even have menu options for Vegan friends! Hellooooo impossible burger!
Campbells Highland Grille– Just south of Indy is a Scottish inspired grille that is sure to be welcoming to all! The restaurant also shares its love of Soccer by airing all of the best soccer games! They are known for their grilled asparagus and spicy fish tacos!
Baby’s – Baby’s is a fun spot suited for families and cocktail enthusiasts! They even have dairy-free (+ Boozy) milkshakes! Their dinner options are just as great too!
Downtown Olly’s– Ready for a safe spot to celebrate and chill? Downtown Olly’s is where it’s at! This venue is also a great spot for dinner and drinks!
English Ivy’s– Looking for some great prime rib or hand-crafted cocktails? English Ivy’s is the place! They also have live music, game nights, and so much more!
Forty Five Degrees– Named after the odd angle at which Mass Ave meets College Ave, Forty Five Degrees is a STAPLE in Indy! They have become famous for their half-price sushi on Sunday! And they are Gay owned!
Greek’s Pizzeria– Calling all pizza lovers! Greek’s pizza is in sooo many different spots around Indiana, and their Indy location is totally amazing! Don’t forget to order the biggest serving of breadsticks đŸ˜‰
Marco’s– Marco’s has such a wide variety of food! But many say their bruschetta pasta is to die for! Oh and don’t forget to try their stuffed mushrooms!
Metro– Mass. Ave is known for it’s LGBTQ friendly vendors and Metro is one of the top places to visit! Enjoy a great dinner and party alllll night at Metro!
Mike’s Speedyway Lounge– Calling all NASCAR Fans! Head on over to Mike’s Speedyway Lounge to enjoy a tasty spanish burger or Hot Stew! This bar/restaurant is one of Indianapolis’ oldest bars and is super close to the Indianapolis Speedway!
Hot Box Pizza– Hot Box Pizza is a favorite at our house! We order from there weekly! And their breadsticks are soooo good! We love that their management is also supportive of LGBTQ+ couples!
Revolution BBQ– Craving some smoked bbq, look no further! Revolution Barbecue has some of the best bbq in town! Bold, spicy, sweet, seriously whatever you like- they have it!
Queer Chocolatier– This queer owned chcolate shop, bakery, and candy store is THE PLACE TO VISIT! Truffles gallore plus you can even sign up for a Chocolate tasting event!
Two Chick’s Whisy Business – Looking for home made desserts? Two Chick’s Whisky Business Bakery + Cobbler shop has soooo many options! Cupcakes, pies, and seriously any dessert you could ever want!
Tolly’s– Established in 2017, is a great bar and grill! They have Karaoke on Tuesdays + Friday’s and open mic comedy on Fridays! Plus their buffalo chicken nachos are the bomb!
