Mount Timpanogos is Utah’s most romantic peak. It has a pretty steep summit trail with many sections requiring hands as well as feet for climbing but it is totally worth it. This hike will give you a glimpse into the most amazing views in all of Utah. The summit offers seclusion and isolation for the most memorable proposal! Stay until sunset and feast your eyes on this gorgeous view!
If you are super adventurous than this spot will be one you can reminisce on for years to come. Natural Bridges National Monument is home to many wonderful arches including Kachina, Owachomo, Sipapu and most importantly Bridges of the Gods Bridges of Gods was formed where ancient Native Americans crossed between Utah and Oregon. Imagine proposing to your partner under the stars, as you gaze at this natural beauty!
If you don’t mind a bit of a hike, then we will will certainly recommend visiting Delicate Arch located within Arches national park. A two mile hike is required to reach this beautiful arch but it is completely worth it! Wait until sunset when the light radiates off of this delicate formation and catches your eye from miles away as you gaze over the landscape. Or if you prefer way less visitors, choose a sunrise proposal on a weekday and make your way out before sunrise with your lover before anyone else gets there!
Have no fear of heights? Then check out Angel’s Landing! While most people can be intimidated when attempting this breathtaking hike know that most relationships are strengthened after overcoming a fear together! This hike climbs up nearly 1,5000 veritcal feet along the narrow fin stone. Don’t worry, there is a chain railing though! 🙂 This is one adventure that you’ll never forget!
Looking for something not too packed and simple at that? The Bonneville Salt Flats will be the perfect place for you! The salt flats are a 30,000 acre of white salt crust leftover from the Great Salt Lake Basin. The white salt with the mountain backdrop is truly iconic! Traveling here will make you feel like you are on mars. Even better, work with a local decorator and set up a cute arch that will be perfect for a proposal! (Just make sure not to be out there when there are races going on!)
Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park is a place unlike no other! Located in Kanab, it features pink-hued sand dunes right next to some beautiful sandstone cliffs. At a size of over 3,500 acres, you can find a perfectly secluded spot to propose to your lover! Be sure to bring some water + snacks to enjoy a picnic under the starts after proposing!
Romantic places to propose can be found in the most unusual of settings! Take an exciting boat ride around Crater Lake and propose as you watch the sunset emerge from behind the peaks. Famous for its deep blue color and water clarity, Crater Lake is truly the perfect spot for a proosal!
If you are looking for the most romantic places in Utah to propose most people would tell you most likely to answer is a sunset. But in this most unusual proposal place, the most romantic time is actually sunrise! Prepare for an early rise and take advantage of that most incredible scenery found during an early morning. The most breathtaking colors shine and reflect off Dead Horse Point as the peaks take on various hues of reds, blues, purples and more just before sunrise.
Just off the Mirror Lake highway you’ll find a beautiful series of amazing waterfalls. Pick a warm summer day and start your trip in Kamas to find where Mirror Lake Highway begins. Continue for about 24 miles and you’ll start seeing signs for the upper portion of the falls! If you are feeling more adventurous you can take a dirt trail to get closer to the lower portion of the falls, which would be a perfect proposal spot if you ask us! We suggest making sure to visit in the early AM on a weekday so that there are less visitors to watch your proposal! 🙂
The Alpine Loop Scenic Drive is perfect for those who want to be inspired by nature for their proposal spot. This 20 mile drive winds through the canyons of the Wasatch Range and offers beautiful views of Mount Timpanogos and other glacier-carved peaks!
