Fairfield Lakes Park Anniversary Session in Lafayette, Indiana //Zyan + Hunter

We are ecstatic to share with you Zyan + Hunter’s Fairfield Lakes Park Anniversary Photos in Lafayette, Indiana. This one is extra special for us because Zyan is pretty special to us!!! Zyan is one of our two summer interns this year + we are oh so happy to have her hanging out with us.

Fairfield Lakes is a park of many hidden gems. There are three entrances when you first arrive… one way before the rest that leads to the creek and two up ahead, side by side separating the two lakes. This park is known for its fishing, kayaking, and hiking… but it also makes a picture perfect spot for anniversary photos!!!

Zyan + Hunter showed up picture ready! Zyan’s white lace dress was one from a story book… seriously so gorgeous!!!! We started off in the beautiful tall grass Fairfield Lakes has to offer + got the ball rolling! Lots of laughs and jokes were shared during this session. Our other intern, Grace, was there and it was a dream to have all our interns in one place just having a good time! From there, we moved down the paths of the lake. The benches on the waterside added a nice effect to the pictures, giving them a place to sit and chill for some photos.

After that, we “hiked” down to the water… the best part! At the creeks edge we made some photography Tik Toks + broke into the wedding cake! Whether or not the cake was still good a year after the wedding, these pictures were absolutely ADORABLE! Zyan brought the sweetest blanket to display all their props on… after the champagne POP they shared a glass right on the beach… date night GOALS.

The rocky creek bed was not the most smooth and comfortable to walk on, but hey! Beauty is pain + these pictures were BEAUTIFUL!!! Smile through the pain is what they say!!!! Zyan + Hunter truly killed this session!

To close out this session we drove down to the other side of the lake… the park closes at 8:30 sharp so it stinks we didn’t have more time to explore the park but it was nice to get to be able to explore other areas. Back into the rocky creek they went! This time our intern Grace got to try her hand at posing a couple. There were definitely some fun ones out of those!!!
