We are Sam + Bryt, wife and wife elopement photographers, business educators, and LGBTQ+ activitists! We are so freaking excited that you are here!
If you are ready to go on an adventure, feel empowered, or learn how to level up your business, we are your girls! So.. what are you waiting for? Let's do this thing!
It’s no secret that Vegas is truly a GEM in the adventure photography world. The nightlife, the dessert, and all the inbetween locations! Vegas is truly a photographers dream. We have had several inquiries on adventure sessions + what to do while you are in Vegas so we figured we would compile a list of everything vegas to help you plan your long weekend stay! Read below to find out a Las Vegas Engagement Session Iteniary for a long weekend!
Arrive to your hotel/Airbnb (see below suggestions) + take a little siesta before heading out to the strip for some true Vegas experiences! Depending on the time we suggest heading to a drag brunch show at Senor Frogs!
After seeing + enjoying a brunch show you can head to the Red Rock Spa and the $5.00 black jack tables, if that’s your think! Red Rock Casino is the nicest local Casino in Las Vegas. There are a couple of nice things about venturing off the strip! The first is cheaper gambling + better table conversations. Secondly, not as crowded! The spa is also a great choice to recover from walking around the strip at brunch 🙂
For nightime we have a tried + true Vegas adventure for ya! At about 3:30/3:45 ish you will want to head out to Henderson. About 15 minutes sourth of The Strip, sits a higher elevation. There are several small trails to lookout points that make for great sunsets over the Strip and a great view of Las Vegas as a Whole!
Then it will be time to get a great sleep and get ready for our adventure session day tomorrow!
We will begin our Las Vegas Engagement Session at the Seven Magic Mountains Sculptures. These sculptures sprinkle some rainbow colors into the Vegas landscape! The art consists of seven brightly-colored limestone boulders. Did you know it costs $3.5 million to make?! Crazy! The best time to go to these sculptures is as early in the morning as possible, so we suggest leaving around 7AM ish to arrive and make sure we have the place somewhat private to ourselves! It’s about 25 minutes to the sculpture!
We would then head back to The Strip and take some fun photos along the strip! You know, to capture the whole Vegas scense in all of its essence! We can either do lunch before or after depending on time!
We can then head back to the hotel to clean up/freshen up/take naps! And then get ready to head back out for sunset photos at Valley of Fire State Park!
To end our Las Vegas Engagement Session we will be hiking through Valley of Fire! It’s about 25 minutes from The Strip. There are plenty of trails where you can see the beautiful red rocks. These rocks make for beautiful photos because of how the red contrasts against the other colors. Valley of Fire State Park is known for its 40,000 acres of bright red Aztec sandstone outcrops nestled in gray and tan limestone. Just imagine the colors this park presents at sunset! Catch my drift here?!
After our session, it’s time that you experience some nightlife! We are in VEGAS for goodness sake! One of the coolest things to do in Vegas at night is to take a ride in the high roller + then take pictures at the top of the_________. Strangely enough, one of the best views in Las Vegas is at the top of _____ (will reveal secret to you) Can’t share everything LOL! This was one of my cousins best quarantine finds 😉 Here at the top you get the perfect view of the fountains + the eiffel tower from the strip!
On your last full day in Vegas – we had to include some Vegas staples! Wake up early + get the best (less people views) before you head to the lake! We suggest visiting the Fountains at Bellagio and the Bellagio Conservatory + Botanical Gardens!
Sharing some local secrets here! Many people don’t know that there are two lakes in Las Vegas. The first is Lake Mead. We would highly reccomend a beach day here (Or we could even use it for out photoshoot!). The views are amazing + the water is extremely clear!
The second lake is Lake Las Vegas. On Lake Las Vegas you can rent a table to yourself and go on a 2 hour brunch yacht tour! We think this is the perfect way to end your stay in Vegas!
Last up, after your lake day you could head to the iconic Neon Sign Boneyard for a unique expierence or head to the Eiffel Tower + catch a ride all the way to the top and even have romantic dinner to end your Vegas stay!
It’s not secret that a grand hotel is one of the best experiences of a Vegas Stay! You can stay at The Bellagio Hotel + Casino, Caesars Palace, the Luxor Hotel + Casino, or the Venetian for less than $150 a night!
If you are wanting something a little bit removed from The Strip or just not a hotel (or maybe a penthouse LOL), we have plenty of other options too! Airbnbs can be fun to get the privacy that you want 🙂 Click HERE to see the list we customized for you! It also includes a tiny home because… why not ha!
