I am so excited to share with Tianna + Nathan’s Wildcat Creek Park Engagement Pictures in Lafayette, Indiana with you all! Tianna + Nathan were such a blast to shoot and were truly up for EVERYTHING… keep reading and you’ll see haha!

When you arrive to Wildcat Creek Park in Lafayete, Indiana you actually cannot see the creek! You’d think it would be right there, but you do have to walk a little distance! However, be EXTRA prepared because if it just rained there WILL BE MUD!

Tianna + Nathan met in English class during their sophomore year in high school! He would always bounce his leg on her chair + Tianna shares that it was NOT a good first impression, ha! After that the rest was history!

Nathan proposed to Tianna at Ft. Myers Beach in Florida with a ring she was sure to say YES to! She had a hunch that he was going to propose because his whole family was there! They had a cook out on the beach and then he got down on one knee! She had previously told Nathan it was her dream to get proposed on a beach and boy did HE DELIVERED!

Engagement Pictures in Lafayette, Indiana

The session started by us walking around the park to get some shots by the gorgeous trees! I love the way the sun just peeks through them! We gave them some silly prompts to get the session started and they totally NAILED the “walk like you are drunk” poses! HA! These are always a favorite because you can NOT not laugh!

After the sun started to go down a bit and the crowd thinned out, we headed off for an adventure 😉 You get where this is going, right?! We walked down and across the high grasses and through extra STICKY and thick mud! The best part was, shoes did not even help in this case. But once we got to the other side… the sunset was so vivid and beautiful! Especially as it set over the creek!

Flash forward a little bit and Tianna + Nathan were up for getting into the water for a few shots! Let the water fight begin!! And when I say everyone, I mean everyone… Guess who fell into the water trying to capture the shots?! YUP! ME! HA! But let me tell you, it was worth it!
