I am so excited to share with you Bri + Zac Acker’s Rensselaer, Indiana wedding! Where do I even begin with this beautiful day?! Bri + Zac were married on September 21, 2019! They had a ceremony at Curtis Creek Golf Course, and then slipped away to the Jasper County Fair Grounds for the reception.
They were together for 4 1/2 years before they got married! He proposed to her in their new home together! Bri + Zac have a motto that they go by in their relationship and I absolutely have to share it with you all! ” You deserve the best version of me” They strive to be there for each other in their relationship and this is the SWEETEST!!!
Let’s start with the ceremony first! The ceremony was outdoors on the drive range at Curtis Creek! It was traditional, but gorgeous spot for a private ceremony with their big guest list! 🙂 Flower petals decorated each of the aisles and created a romantic feel for their ceremony! In place of a unity candle they did a wine box ceremony (I’m all here for this one!).
Here is how Bri explained the wine ceremony to us! “In place of a unity candle – the letters we wrote to each other will go in the box with a bottle of wine. Plan is to open at our first anniversary after having added letters to each other throughout the year. Drink wine and replace with a bottle that will keep until the next year with additional letters. I love the idea that our kids/grandkids could eventually look back at all of our love letters when we’re long gone, they’re a lost art!” We thought this was absolutely the CUTEST!
Bri + Zac were going for a “classic and timeless” theme for their wedding, they thought it felt like a Beauty and the Beast theme after it was all said and done! And we certainly do not disagree! The Jasper County Fair Grounds, was an amazing place to have a reception, plenty of room for all of your guests and perfect for any style wedding. The best part is that the fairgrounds can truly be transformed to ANY theme imaginable!
To keep things fun, Bri + Zac had cut outs themselves made at different ages for guests to take pictures of throughout the reception! The cutouts were made by Cindy Zeise! Such a fun and creative idea!
Bri has some advice for future brides that we would like to share! Weddings can be stressful so we feel everyone needs to hear some advice from a past bride! “Just breathe the big day will be worth it!” This is so true! It is so important to let things go with the flow on your big day!
