Here it is guys! Renee and Ryan’s Celery Bog engagement session in Lafayette, Indiana! These two are such an AMAZING couple and we had so much fun working with them! Keep reading to hear about their story and check out the dreamy location we chose!
Engagement Session Lafayette Indiana
The Celery Bog is open from dawn to dusk and there is no admission charge! They hold nature related programs in the nature center where you can learn all about the plants and bugs that live here! It contains 4.3 miles of paved trails and 2.5 miles of natural paths through the woods, savanna and prairie. (Talk about dreamy location vibes!) The Celery Bog contains over 195 acres of property! It got its name because it used to be a LARGE vegetable farm that provided fresh produce for more than 80 of the local grocers (Who would of thought?!). OK enough about the location, let’s get to their story!
Renee and Ryan will be getting married on August 10th, 2019 at Black Iris Estate in Carmel, Indiana. They both enjoy planning surprise dates for each other (HOW CUTE)! It was Ryan’s turn to surprise Renee, so he took her to dinner in Indianapolis and then they walked along the white river canal. At sunset he proposed to her! JUST WAIT, THERE IS MORE! Their families were all watching from behind the trees! Seriously, how awesome is that proposal story?!
We chose the Celery Bog for this engagement session because Renee and Ryan love to hike and explore together. Clearly this couple is always up for an adventure! Would you even know that is was sooooo cold during this session?! Nope!
What To Do After Visiting
After your adventure at the Celery Bog you need to check out Walt’s Pub & Grill for dinner and a few drinks! Plus they also have a BEAUTIFUL outdoor seating area with lights and the whole 9 yards!
