I am so excited to share Jenessa + Griffin’s Rensselaer, Indiana Wedding! Jenessa & Griffin met at Purdue University and were engaged at Griffin’s friend’s lake on their way home from lunch. Griffin had put signs in the sand asking Jenessa to marry him. I can only imagine her face as he got down on one knee!
These two clicked instantly because they enjoyed doing the same things and they could just be themselves around each other. Griffin just loved that he didn’t have to impress her!
Their love was eminent throughout the whole day. I hadn’t met these two before their big day so it was amazing to have a couple so in love that you didn’t even need to make them kiss 😉
They were married at Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Rensselaer, IN and then headed over to Curtis Creek Country Club for an open house style reception. These two were surrounded by such amazing family and friends on their wedding day, and there were so many sweet moments that stuck out to me as I captured each part of their day. I loved watching the both of them tear up as they exchanged letters before their ceremony. I’m pretty sure Bryt and I both shed a few tears too!
I also loved watching Griffin’s HUGE grin as he saw his bride for the first time. His grin made the entire bridal party smile from ear to ear as they awaited his reaction.
However, my favorite part of this day was the daddy daughter dance. At one point, Jenessa’s dad even had to wipe some tears away from her eyes. There wasn’t a dry eye around the whole dance floor!
